Low pressure moved from Iowa to lower Michigan. Snow occurred north of the track of the low, primarily across eastern upper Michigan. Snowfall was enhanced by southerly winds off of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, primarily into Mackinac County. Curtis picked up 14 inches of snowfall on the 12th, while Hessel received 12 inches.
