A strong low pressure system move east through the Beaufort Sea brought blizzard conditions and strong winds to the eastern Arctic Coast.

Zone 204: Blizzard conditions were observed at the Barter Island AWOS. The visibility was reduced to one quarter mile or less in snow and blowing snow. There was a peak wind gust of 47 kt (54 mph) at the Barter Island AWOS.
