What the National Weather Service wrote

Very strong high pressure and very cold temperatures in the Yukon combined with a trough over the southern inner channels, caused strong northerly winds and extremely cold wind chills at White Pass. Wind chills as low as -55 to -60F were measured at the White Pass RWIS.
