Heavy rain over portions of Ville Platte produced flooded streets. Some flood waters were too deep for lower vehicles.

Wider weather episode

A slow moving line of showers and storms moved through South Louisiana with an upper level disturbance. Six inches of rain fell in a short period of time on the community of Ville Platte which produced street flooding.
