South Fork Shields Snotel recorded 12 to 15 inches of snow.

A strong disturbance within a very unstable northwest flow aloft resulted in heavy snow for the Absaroka/Beartooth, Crazy, and Big Horn Mountains and adjacent foothills. In addition, a few locations in the vicinity of the foothills also received heavy snow.
