Wider weather episode
Strong surface pressure falls along The Rocky Mountain Front produce increasing west-southwesterly winds. These stronger winds produce areas of blowing snow, observed on web cams at East Glacier Park, but likely affecting other nearby areas. Expect these stronger winds to continue spreading across much of North-central Montana overnight into Friday. While maintaining fairly mild temperatures, the increasing winds also support the continuing potential for drifting or blowing snow.
