Trees were reported down and the roof of an outbuilding was damaged.

Wider weather episode

A few severe thunderstorms developed in the unstable air ahead of a cold front during the evening and into the overnight hours. An isolated storm produced some wind damage across Southwest Virginia and widely scattered damage occurred later in the night across Central East and Southeast Tennessee as well as Southwest North Carolina.
