CoCoRaHS observers reported .7 inches of snow south of Arnoldsville and .3 inches 4 miles south-southwest of Arnoldsville.

A fast moving mid-level short wave swept through the region during the morning and early afternoon. With a fairly cold airmass in place over north Georgia and ample mid-level moisture, moderate to heavy snow quickly accumulated across a large portion of north Georgia.
