A picture of flooding was posted on social media on John McMurria Road near Arlington.

The wider storm

A strong cold front affected the region with strong low level winds. A squall line pushed through the area with numerous reports of wind damage. In addition, the strong low level winds ahead of the front resulted in strong non-thunderstorm winds gusts around 50 mph at times.
