In Taunton at 226 PM EST (326 PM EDT) a CWOP station reported a wind gust of 63 mph. In Mansfield at 1022 AM EST amateur radio reported a tree and wires down on Oakland St. In Rehoboth at 335 PM EST a mesonet station reported a sustained wind of 40 mph. In Norton at 442 PM EST law enforcement reported a power line and tree down on Route 123 in front of Town Hall.

A powerful low pressure system tracked across the Great Lakes and brought strong and damaging winds to all of Massachusetts Monday late morning through the evening. A very strong and highly anomalous low level jet brought southerly wind gusts of 60-70 mph ahead of a cold front that moved through Monday evening.
