In Hanover at 520 PM EST (620 PM EDT) a CWOP station reported a wind gust of 59 mph. In Lakeville at 1044 AM EST amateur radio reported a tree down on RT 79. In Plympton at 11 AM EST there was a tree and wires down on a house on Soule St. In Halifax at 225 PM EST amateur radio reported a tree down on a house on White Island Rd. In Rockland at 556 PM EST broadcast media reported a cow barn lofted and thrown into a power pole.

A powerful low pressure system tracked across the Great Lakes and brought strong and damaging winds to all of Massachusetts Monday late morning through the evening. A very strong and highly anomalous low level jet brought southerly wind gusts of 60-70 mph ahead of a cold front that moved through Monday evening.
