On the 6th, moisture wrapping around the approaching system yielded light snow early in the day in parts of the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains of the north and west. About an inch of snow fell at Bass and Vendor (both in Newton County), Bruno (Marion County), Marshall (Searcy County), and Queen Wilhelmina State Park (Polk County).
