At 1051 am, the mesonet station at Tappan Zee Light measured a 68 mph wind gust, and a 48 mph sustained wind. The sensor is elevated to 44 feet. A 51 mph wind gust was measured in Peekskill at 1033 am. According to social media, a tree was knocked down across Alpine Drive near the town of Roe Park at 1015 am. Power was out. Around 1115 am, there were multiple reports from emergency managers of trees down on Route 9A and local roads through the town of Ossining. Around 1150 am, social media reports in the town of Somers were of a large tree down across Valley Pond Road. In North Salem, social media reported a downed tree and wires at 312 pm on NY 22 in both directions at Valeria Circle with all lanes blocked. At 358 pm, social media reported downed trees and wires on NY 35 in both directions between Tomahawk Street (US 202) and Lake Road with all lanes blocked. This was in the town of Somers.
