The observer located southwest of Liberty measured an inch of snow, as did the cooperative observer in Liberty.

Wider weather episode

An upper low tracked through the region with a surface low riding the spine of the Appalachians to the northeast. Light snow on the northern periphery of this system resulted in some light accumulations.
