A severe thunderstorm produced large hail estimated to be the size of quarters southwest of Meeker.
Wider weather episode
A quick moving shortwave trough brushed northwest Colorado and produced scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms north of Interstate 70. Some showers produced gusty outflow winds and one thunderstorm generated quarter-sized hail.
