Law enforcement reported a tree down on Southern State Parkway westbound between exits 18 and 17 in Hempstead at 137 pm. In Levittown, the fire department reported a telephone pole was knocked down on to wires on Oriole Road and Hempstead Turnpike around 147 pm. Law enforcement reported a tree down on power lines on Randy Lane between Shore Road and Brody Lane in Bellmore. The wires were on fire, and this occurred around 237 pm. In Old Bethpage,law enforcement reported a tree down on a house on Simpson Drive around 241 pm. Around 307 pm, law enforcement in Long Beach reported a telephone pole snapped on Lafayette Boulevard and West Pine Street.
