Social media reported a large tree branch down in East Meadow at 940 am. At 1140 am, social media reported a tree down on NY 293 north of US 6 in Woodbury. Around 1 pm, law enforcement reported a tree down blocking the right lane at Northern State Parkway westbound between exit 31 and exit 29 in Roslyn Heights. At 137 pm, law enforcement reported a tree down on Lakeville Road north of the Northern State Parkway in Lake Success. In Westbury, law enforcement reported wires down on Elderberry Drive between Plum Tree Road East and Plum Tree Road West around 158 pm. In Syosset, law enforcement reported a tree down on 25A at Ripley Lane, with all lanes closed at 225 pm. In Plainview, social media reported a tree down on NY 135 at exit 10 at 243 pm. Around 607 pm, a trained spotter reported a BP gas station sign had blown over at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Marcus Avenue.
