A strong winter storm moved across the region, bringing significant snowfall to much of northeastern Wyoming. Rain changed to snow late in the afternoon on the 1st, with snowfall continuing through much of the night. Snowfall amounts of four to eight inches were reported across much of the area, with as much as 12 inches over the Wyoming Black Hills. Gusty winds produced some blowing and drifting snow.
