Around 312 pm, a brush fire started when an unauthorized pile burn became out of control and burned 17 acres and burned a tractor at 20505 NE 22nd Lane. The fire was 100% contained at 17.5 acres. Three house sustained damage of unknown severity and Alachua Sheriff conducted door-to-door evacuations. The cost of the tractor was estimated and included in Storm Data.
