Very large hail accompanied by wind gusts to 50 mph broke several car windows.
Wider weather episode
Severe thunderstorms produced very large hail over parts of Douglas, Logan and Sedgwick counties. Large hail up to half dollar size was observed in Douglas County. Larger hail, from golfball to baseball size, damaged vehicles in Logan and Sedgwick counties.
