Multiple reports of quarter size hail (around one inch in diameter) in Ocean City. Time estimated from radar.

Several shortwaves rotating through an upper level low off the New England / Mid-Atlantic coast triggered numerous showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. These showers and thunderstorms produced strong to severe winds, heavy downpours, and in some cases, small hail. Activity ended with the loss of daytime heating.
