Allendale County dispatch reported a tree down that brought down a power line at the intersection of Highway 278 and Concord Church Road.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed across the South Carolina Midlands in the mid afternoon hours ahead of a surface front and moved southward into the Lowcountry into the evening. A few of these thunderstorms became strong enough to produce large hail and damaging wind gusts.
