A construction worker was building an outdoor kitchen in the Diamond D Ranch Subdivision near China when he was struck by lightning. He was hospitalized for 2 week before passing in early June.
Wider weather episode
A cut off upper low slowly moved across Texas and produce multiple days of stormy weather. One lightning fatality occurred and wind damage.
