Event narrative
Heavy precipitation was recorded at numerous SNOTEL stations, including Pine Creek with 4.5 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 45 inches of snow, Pickle Keg with 4.2 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 42 inches of snow, Bobs Hollow with 3.7 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 37 inches of snow, and Rees Flat with 2.1 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation, or approximately 21 inches of snow. In addition, strong winds were observed, with the SR-72 at Hogan Pass sensor recording a peak wind gust of 83 mph.
