The Dawson County Emergency Manager reported several trees blown down across the eastern side of the county from around the intersection of Highway 52 and Bailey Waters Road north of Juno to Nix Road southeast of Dawsonville.

Wider weather episode

A moist and moderately instable airmass combine with weak northwesterly upper-level flow and a frontal boundary stalled across north Georgia resulted in isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.
