Event narrative

The Dawson County Emergency Manager reported several trees blown down across the county from the Juno area to Dawsonville. Trees fell onto structures in the 600 block of Highway 53 East and in the 3000 block of Afton Road.

Wider weather episode

Deep tropical moisture associated with the remains of Tropical Storm Cristobal ahead of an approaching short wave and cold front resulted in scattered strong to severe thunderstorms each day.
