The wider storm

High pressure set up shop over the Four Corners region allowing for mid level moisture to spread the the Great Basin area and along the crest of the Sierra Nevada. This allowed for showers and thunderstorms to develop along the Sierra crest during the afternoon and early evening hours.

Began near Lake Alpine (38.4900, -119.8000).
