The dispatcher reported trees down along Carpenter Pike.
Wider weather episode
A well defined cold front that stretched from Chicago to the Gulf Coast, moved west to east through the Ohio Valley. This produced several thunderstorms that caused widespread damage throughout the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. The Kentucky Mesonet recorded a 77 mph wind gust within one of these storms.
