Above normal temperatures occurred in Santa Cruz and eastern Pima counties on July 8th. High temperatures included 108 degrees at the Tucson International Airport, 106 at Sells and 103 at Nogales. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat was the primary cause of death for two adult males, one 2 miles northwest of Nogales and antoher within the Ironwood Forest National Monument.
