Event narrative

The Mineral fire was first spotted around 5 PM on the 13th of July, with nearly 1000 acres burned by days end. The next several days resulted in significant fire growth and numerous evacuation notices within the region. Highway 198 between Coalinga and Monterey County was closed which impact commerce, though the greatest impact was the loss of seven structure. Full containment of the fire was seen on 26th, though growth ended days prior.
