New Mexico DOT mesonet site located 5 miles northeast of Road Forks.

Modest mid 40s to mid 50s dew points were located across southern New Mexico with a weak disturbance moving through northerly flow aloft. Temperatures during the day warmed to near 100 degrees over the lowlands resulting in a high temperature-dew point spread which contributed to severe wind gusts to 74 mph.
