Highway 45 closed near Chatom due to trees and power lines down across the road.

Wider weather episode

A cluster of thunderstorms developed in a northwest upper level flow pattern and moved southward across the area. These storms caused damaging winds in excess of 60 mph, large hail and very heavy rain as they moved across the area.
