Weatherflow sensors at Matagorda Bay and Surfside Beach measured sustained winds at tropical storm force for a period of time on July 25th. Minor coastal flooding and beach erosion were also observed.

Hanna made landfall on the lower Texas coast but produced tropical storm force winds and elevated tides, minor coastal flooding across coastal Matagorda and Brazoria Counties.
