A severe thunderstorm producing winds estimated near 60 mph knocked down multiple trees along Interstate 80 near mile-marker 197.
Wider weather episode
Scattered thunderstorms developed over central Pennsylvania, ahead of a weak mid-level shortwave, during the afternoon of August 7, 2020. A few of these storms produced wind damage, as well as flash flooding across Lancaster and York Counties.
