Fifteen people trapped along Rio Tanama due to a water surge. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain fell across the area according to doppler radar estimates.

Moisture from Tropical Storm Josephine, which tracked northeast of the area, combined with local and diurnal effects to generate heavy showers and thunderstorms across most of interior Puerto Rico.
