The Butts County Emergency Manager reported a few trees blown down along and near Highway 36 from Jackson northeast to the near the county line.

A quick-moving short wave swept through the Tennessee Valley producing strong to severe thunderstorms across north Georgia in the early afternoon. The strong to severe storms progressed south through the afternoon into the early evening across central Georgia.
