The Macon-Bibb County 911 center reported several trees blown down from Macon in the vicinity of the I-75/I-16 interchange eastward to Franklinton Road near the Jones County line.

Wider weather episode

A quick-moving short wave swept through the Tennessee Valley producing strong to severe thunderstorms across north Georgia in the early afternoon. The strong to severe storms progressed south through the afternoon into the early evening across central Georgia.
