The Wilkinson County Emergency Manager reported several trees blown down across the county from the Twiggs County line south of Gordon, across Irwinton to west of Toomsboro.

Wider weather episode

A quick-moving short wave swept through the Tennessee Valley producing strong to severe thunderstorms across north Georgia in the early afternoon. The strong to severe storms progressed south through the afternoon into the early evening across central Georgia.
