The Emanuel County Emergency Manager reported a tree blown down along Kemp Road near Minnow Lane.

The wider storm

A quick-moving short wave swept through the Tennessee Valley producing strong to severe thunderstorms across north Georgia in the early afternoon. The strong to severe storms progressed south through the afternoon into the early evening across central Georgia.
