Snow accumulated 5 inches at Brookville.

The back side of a strong area of low pressure brought a relatively quick round of moderate to heavy snow to portions of Central Kansas during the predawn to mid-morning hours on the 31st. Snow accumulations ranged from 3 to 5 inches. Several automobile accidents occurred, a few of which included injuries (indirect) in Mcpherson and Saline counties.
