Winds generally were gusting to between 40 and 45 mph. In Medford at 1018 AM EDT, a large tree limb was down on wires on Pinkert Street.

Southwest winds gusted to 45 to 50 mph during the afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front, causing scattered tree damage.
