Winds generally were gusting to between 40 and 45 mph. In nearby North Kingstown at 1050 AM EDT, the AWOS at the Quonset Airport (KOQU) recorded a gust to 40 mph. In Barrington at 150 PM EDT, a tree was down on Nayatt Road at the Rhode Island Country Club.
