Highway 12 was over topped and a car became stranded in flood waters.

Strong to severe storms developed over the higher terrain and along the I-25 corridor during the afternoon and evening hours. While the main risk for this day was severe weather, thunderstorm development over and near the higher terrain provided a risk for burn scar flash flooding.
