What EF0 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF0 is light damage: shingles and siding peeled, gutters torn, branches broken, consistent with estimated gusts of 65–85 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

What the National Weather Service wrote

A National Weather Service survey team found that an EF0 tornado with maximum wind speeds of 80 mph and a maximum path width of 200 yards travelled 0.7 miles across a portion of northeast Lilburn in southwest Gwinnett County. The tornado touched down just west of Bethesda Park, between Lilburn and Lawrenceville and moved northwest, snapping or uprooting multiple trees in a residential area between Oak Park Drive NW and Sweetwater Drive. Several trees fell onto homes, but damage to these homes were minor. Before lifting, the tornado crossed Lawrenceville Highway, snapping a few additional trees. No injuries were reported. [10/10/20: Tornado #7, County #1/1, EF-0, Gwinnett, 2020:034].
