Cow Creek sensor located nineteen miles north of Dixon measured the reported wind gust.

Ahead of a frontal passage with a middle level trough moving into the region, several areas across southeastern Wyoming had sensors measure high wind speeds beyond the normal wind prone areas. Maximum gust was 68 mph at the Cooper Cove exit east-southeast of Arlington along Interstate 80.
