Merced and Atwater reported visibility below a quarter mile.

High pressure built back into central California during the morning of November 14 as the system which brushed the area the previous day moved out of the region. Skies cleared out and winds became light during the overnight and morning hours of November 14 allowing for patchy dense fog to form in Merced County around sunrise. Merced and Atwater had visibility below a quarter mile for a short time after sunrise. Visibility improved later in the morning and the fog dissipated before 1000 am.
