Hanford reported visibility below a quarter mile. California Highway Patrol reported visibility between 500 and 1000 feet on SR 198 between SR 41 and 12th Ave.

Wider weather episode

High pressure strengthened over central California on November 14. This allowed for a stronger near surface inversion during the morning of November 15 in the San Joaquin Valley. With clear skies and light winds prevailing, areas of dense fog formed overnight near the center of the San Joaquin Valley reducing visibility to between 500 and 1000 feet in several locations and impacting travel on State Route 99. The fog lifted into a stratus deck by late morning and dissipated by midday.
