Dixon Airport measured a minimum wind chill value of minus 30.

In the aftermath of strong low pressure system and fresh snowpack, cold Arctic air tanked overnight temperatures the morning of the 27th into the minus 20 and 30 ranges. Laramie Airport measured minimum wind chill of minus 32 while setting a new low temperature for the 27th of minus 26 breaking the previous record of minus 16. This also sets a new monthly low temperature for Laramie breaking the old record of minus 18 set back on 30 October 1993. Cheyenne broke a low temperature record while Rawlins tied their previous record.
