Saltwater flooding reported at Edisto Seafood on Docksite Road.

Major coastal flooding impacted portions of the southeast South Carolina coast as astronomical high tides were elevated due to the perigee and a new moon cycle. Tides were driven higher due to the presence of favorable northeast winds as the region was under the influence of strong high pressure to the north and northeast.
