High pressure built into central California on November 20. Clearing skies and light winds aided in the development of dense fog along the center of the San Joaquin Valley from eastern Merced County southward to just north of Delano overnight. Further south, high clouds streaming through Kern County inhibited fog formation in Kern County. The fog dissipated by late morning.
